TRAVEL DIARY: MODEL JESSICA KNURA IN PARIS

by Amir Bakian

Home of glorious names like Coco, Christian, and Yves. City of Haute Couture and Prêt-a-porter, this metropole truly breathes and speaks fashion. From delicious food, amazing sightseeing, beauty, fashion, and beautiful places, Model and Fashion Content Creator Jessica Knura takes us for a day on her journey through the city of love.  How to better start your day, than with warm brioche and a golden latte at Maison Sauvage. “You cannot leave Paris without trying the quintessential French warm pastry”, she said. A few minutes- walk away, she headed for a short break at Ladurée, “My mother loves the incomparable macarons. It became a ritual. Flying to Paris means macarons for my mother”.

By realizing that her next appointment will start in 10 minutes, she skilfully calls a taxi. “We are now driving to the Beauty Clinic Hydra Facial, near Champs Élysée”, she explains. “Not only because of my job as a model, but my skincare is really important to me. Their facials are amazing!” “Around Place de la Madeleine, Paris offers beautiful streets and avenues, places and bistros to enjoy a typical French atmosphere”, reveals Model Jessica Knura. “After a successful window-shop adventure, I love to relax at Jardin des Tuilleries.” One of the best relationships Jessica maintains is Balmain Hair Couture. “We started to work together in 2020. One of my first big beauty jobs and love at first sight with Hair Stylist Massimo di Stefano. He is a luminary in his field.”

Passing Place de la Concorde to Franck Provost Balmain Hair Salon, Jessica explains: “The business and competitors are quite hard enough. I want to represent a modern woman who works hard to achieve her goals but never loses her humor in the world of fashion.” We spontaneously accompany Jessica, on her way to a date, which she has at Loulou‘s in the evening. “To let the day end as deliciously as it started, I recommend the truffle pizza.” Watching the Eiffel tower, enlightened like a giant, glittering star, Jessica ends her tour with one iconic phrase: “Like Audrey Hepburn says Paris is always a good idea!”
