The Oscars might be all about the after-parties, but The Golden Globes start the party early, making W Magazine’s annual pre-Golden Globes bash a mandatory stop before Sunday’s show. Last night at The Chateau Marmont in La La Land, hosts Stefano Tonchi, Lynn Hirschberg, and André Balazs officially celebrated W‘s “Best Performance” issue, but the event acted more as a nominee convention, with A-listers spotted everywhere. Noms Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Haillee Steinfeld, Ruth Negga, Natalie Portman, Tom Ford, Lily Collins, Claire Foy, Evan Rachel Wood, and Gael Garcia Bernal mingled with mere mortals Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, James Corden, Chris Pine, Chloë Sevigny, Kelly Rohbrach, China Chow, Christopher Kane, Julie Delpy, and even an alive and well Val Kilmer. Now we know what they won’t be wearing this weekend.
The Golden Globes (hosted by Jimmy Fallon) air on NBC at 8 p.m. on Sunday with the red carpet (and we know that’s what you like) kicking off on E! at 6 p.m. E’s Fashion Police special airs Monday at 8 p.m.
