Target Is Reissuing Pieces From Its Major Designer Collaborations (Vogue)
Target is celebrating 20 years of designer collaborations (known as the Design for All program) by re-issuing 300 pieces from past collections. Considering the retailer has worked with some huge names — including Rodarte, Missoni, Zac Posen, and Victoria Beckham — this is sure to be a massive hit. Additionally, the Design for All program will be honored with a Rizzoli book in September, and an exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt Museum in October. The limited-edition collection will be available in stores and online September 14.

Is US Demand for Makeup Slowing Down? (CNBC)
There are concerns that the makeup and beauty bubble is about to burst, after L’Oreal “missed estimates for its second-quarter sales.” The company cited a “weakness in U.S. demand,” as well as a fatigue for mass-market brands.

The Met Considers a Karl Lagerfeld Exhibition (WWD)
Rumors are swirling that the Costume Institute will put on a Karl Lagerfeld show in 2022. The closest the Met has come to showcasing Lagerfeld’s work was in 2005 with an exhibit about the house of Chanel. The museum declined to comment on future exhibitions.

Prada Profits Are Up (Business of Fashion)
Prada’s revenue was up 2 percent in the first half of this year, totaling $1.73 billion. Part of this is attributed to recent changes made by the luxury house. In March Prada announced it would stop marking down items, and in May it downsized its wholesale network.

On Tuesday, Edie Parker Flower founder Brett Heyman hosted a “Garden of Edie” party at the Eric Buterbaugh Perfumery in West Hollywood. Guests like Charli XCX, Busy Philipps, Sophia Bush, and Fran Drescher enjoyed a joint rolling station, a friendship bracelet making station, candied apples, Jon & Vinny’s pizza, and drinks courtesy of Helen’s Wines.
