We caught up with model Hannah Fergusson at Stuart Weitzman’s fall 2018 presentation and cocktail party to get the inside scoop on E!’s new reality series Model Squad.
What brought you out tonight?
I’m here as Ivan Bart’s date!
How is he as a date?
Fantastic! He knows everyone. He helps break the ice.
You’re going to be on the new E! show Model Squad! What’s the show about?
It’s a doc-series following 8 models, and showing what’s it’s like to be in the industry, behind-the-scenes, and showing it’s not all glitz and glam. Our highs and our lows!
Did you have any meltdowns in front of the camera?
I definitely cried several times. I’m an emotional person. I have a soft heart. There was nothing crazy. My boyfriend is from St. Thomas so we filmed there after the hurricane and that made me emotional. It’s like my second home so seeing the state of the island was devastating and hard to see. Things like that.

How do you feel about seeing yourself on TV?
I’m nervous! I’ve never done a TV show before. I’m very excited and have no idea what to expect. I hate the sound of voice! I’m not looking forward to that.

We get to watch the first episode on Monday! I’m nervous, but super excited!
