Gigi Hadid and Stuart Weitzman Celebrate the Launch of the Gigi Boot

Gigi Hadid and Stuart Weitzman celebrated the launch of the Gigi Boot at Alex Olch‘s The Metrograph theater on the Lower East Side, where a film of Gigi directed by James Franco was unveiled. In the film, Gigi rocks the new must-have boots while boxing—not something we’d recommend you try at home, but very chic. However, they’re ultra-comfortable for jetting around the city—and we can vouch for it, having already purchased our own pair. The film was shot at Brooklyn’s iconic Gleason’s Gym and was inspired by Hadid’s fitness regime. (Hadid famously thanked her boxing coach on Twitter after defending herself from a male attacker during Milan Fashion Week.)

The action-packed film is set to music by Martin Solveig and Tkay Maidza with a track called “Do It Right.” Guests like Padma Lakshimi, Devon Windsor, Rachel Hilbert, Olivia Culpo, Nolan Funk and more sipped champagne and noshed on mini hamburgers and popcorn while taking in the new campaign video…and yes, all the girls were wearing the boots.
