Luna Bijl and Ulrikke Hoyer star in the new Spring/Summer 2017 Chloé ad campaign shot by British photographer Charlotte Wales. Bijl and Hoyer both walked in Chloé’s Fall/Winter 2016 runway show last year. The images capture the girls in sun-drenched settings and wearing romantic French designs by Clare Waight Keller.
“For me this collection is about going back to the roots and simplicity of French style, for effortless clothes in beautiful proportions,” said Waight Keller in a press statement. “Square volumes and crisp fabrics keep the message strong and graphic, with a hint of floral innocence.”
The designer recently made the decision not to renew her contract with the French house, which expires in March. According to a report from Reuters, Waight Keller’s replacement is Natacha Ramsay-Levi, who was poached from Louis Vuitton, where she was second in command under Nicolas Ghesquière.
