Alberta Ferretti is having a party and we want an invite! The designer unveiled her Spring/Summer 2017 ad campaign featuring models Irina Shayk, Carolyn Murphy, Vittoria Ceretti, Raquel Zimmermann, and Julia Nobis living it up in smoldering images by Steven Meisel. It should come as no surprise that Carine Roitfeld styled the shoot. The five top models were shot in New York City at the Highline Stages and features the ladies in various portraits that exude their sensuality and glamour.
“The summer collection celebrates sensuality,” said Ferretti in a statement. “The idea was to express that through these photos with a joie de vive and and spontaneous, confident femininity that generates true beauty. The five photos tell the stories of different women, seen together to form one complete and complex woman who is independent and in love. She’s happy to be alive because she lives life to the fullest.” Who doesn’t need a little joie de vivre these days?
Male model Thomas Gibbon stars as Zimmermann’s dancing partner in the shoot. Pat McGrath was in charge of the makeup while Guido Palau styled the model’s sultry tresses. In other words, nothing but the best on duty here.
