Victoria Beckham is launching her own line of cosmetics after a successful multiyear partnership with Estée Lauder. “I am currently in the process of creating my own color, and my own line of skincare creams and a perfume,” she said in a Facebook Live video. “As a women, I want to make the things that I need in my life, the things that are missing.”
Beckham previously created two capsule collections with Estée Lauder, the first of which hit stores in September of 2016 and included a fire engine red lipstick, a matte nude lip pencil, and shimmery emerald green eye shadow. The second iteration of Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder was released the following fall and felt more mature, with dewy creme blush, a Bordeaux-hued lipstick, and jet black mascara. The duo of capsules marked her first foray into the beauty marketplace. “The whole process has been inspiring and eye-opening,” she told Vogue UK at the time.
While Beckham has yet to discuss details of her impending beauty brand, one could speculate it will be an amalgamation of her various beauty looks from over the years.
“You know, I tried some interesting looks in the Spice Girls,” she laughed, talking to Into The Gloss last fall. “At this point, I’ve done so many photoshoots and red carpets that I’ve learned so much about my beauty style by looking back at pictures of myself. And I’ve been collecting products for so long—when I had the first meeting with Estée Lauder about creating my own line, I had my entire dining room table covered with things that I liked, colors that I’d mixed up, and ideas for key products that didn’t exist but I knew I wanted. Like, I couldn’t find the perfect nude lipstick, the perfect nude lip liner, the perfect bronzer-contour.”
The perfect bronzer-contour? Watch out KKW.
