Brazil took over the Hamptons on Friday night when The Daily and designer Patricia Bonaldi celebrated the U.S. launch of her uber-chic brand, PatBo. The intimate sit-down dinner was hosted in the luxe garden of The Daily executive editor Ashley Baker’s East Hampton home and it was a night filled with Brazilian cuisine, dancing, cocktails, and photo ops. Many guests donned Bonaldi’s latest range of clothes, a medley of punchy, colorful prints on dresses, skirts, bomber jackets, and other swoon-worthy silhouettes. Blogger stars Aimee Song and her sister Dani, Camila Coelho, Jasmine Sanders (a.k.a. Golden Barbie), and Rachel Zeilic traveled from L.A. for the fun, and some of our favorite NYC influencers attended too, including Serena Goh, Grace Atwood, Charlotte and Sophie Bickley, Reya Benitez, and Katie Sands, who danced the night away to our entertainment of the night, Eliano Braz and the Terra Symphony Orchestra.
Chef Scott Santangelo created a delicious spread including pão de queijo sliders with mortadella and arugula, lettuce wraps with shiitake mushrooms and lime, moqueca baiana, and farofa with banana, bacon, and onion, to name a few. On the menu for dessert were sweet confections like brigadeiros with chocolate shavings and coxinha with dulce de leche and vanilla ice cream. All also indulged in delicious cachaça, thanks to Cuca Fresca.
Others who joined to celebrate the designer included Sophie Beem, Sophie Elgort, Fern Mallis, Oliver and Sasha Benz, Gretchen Maull, Nneya Richards, and Zachary Weiss. We’ll take Brazil in the Hamptons any day!
