Massimo Giorgetti has a way of taking all of the season’s hottest trends and making them feel fresh again. Netting, drawstring ties, ruffles, eyelet designs, and sporty knit stripes were all there, but with Giorgetti’s mastery of color and keen eye for mixing and styling these pieces together, it felt cool. Spandex biker shorts underneath girly ruffle skirts and track pants with floral printed ruffled shirts and feminine white tops with assym ruffles that nearly reached the shoulder were all great ideas. A baby doll dress with smocking and giant red and blue cherry prints was so overly sweet, it felt subversive. Giorgetti knows how to stir things up and the concoctions he creates are buzzworthy.
