Gucci Taps Tom Hiddleston for Cruise 2017 Campaign

Tom Hiddleston—Thor: Ragnarok star and Taylor Swift’s most recent ex—is making a splash in the fashion world with his first major fashion gig to date, thanks to Gucci. The Italian fashion house led by creative director du moment Alessandro Michele tapped the tall, dark, and handsome Brit (who’s known for his sharp, polished style) to star in the campaign for the Cruise 2017  tailoring collection. In his series of portraits, photographed by Glen Luchford, Hiddleston looks nothing less than dapper, thanks to the styling of Joe McKenna. The brand enlisted the luxurious Beverly Hills mansion owned by the late artist Tony Duquette, and staged the shoot with heirlooms, paintings, and curiosities from Duquette’s personal collection, as well as some furry friends: two Afghan hounds, who exhibit just as much poise as Hiddleston (and match his fur-lined backless loafers, if we’re getting down to the details).

Perhaps Michele is a James Bond fan—Hiddleston is slated to be the next 007—but for now, we can only wonder…
