The Kardashians giveth, and the Kardashians taketh away. Today Kim, Khloe, Kylie, and Kourtney announced that they will shutter their apps in 2019. The apps, which launched in 2015 and cost $2.99 per month each, offered exclusive content built around the sisters’ lives and interests. This follows the closure of Kendall’s app last year.

“We’ve had an incredible experience connecting with all of you through our apps these past few years but have made the difficult decision to no longer continue updating in 2019,” said Kim in a statement. “We truly hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as we have, and we look forward to what’s ahead.”

Kim didn’t get into why she and her sisters chose to shut down the apps, although Jezebel suggests that $2.99 a month is quite a bit to pay considering that the content they posted was often similar to what they put on their social media channels for free. Of course, the klan also still has its reality show, which arguably provides the most exclusive access of all, so keeping up with the sister’s shouldn’t be too hard, even after their apps go dark.
