Gucci May Go To Trial Over Alleged Tax Evasion, Josephine Skriver Is Engaged

Gucci Might Be Headed to Trial for Tax Evasion in Italy (Business of Fashion)
It appears Gucci might be headed to trial over allegations of tax fraud. The prosecutors believe the brand “paid taxes on profits generated by sales in Italy in another country with a more favorable tax regime.” Gucci is said to owe “around €1 billion for revenues booked in the years between 2010 and 2016.” Unless the two sides come to an agreement, or new evidence is found, the case will go to trial in 20 days.

LVMH Reaches its Carbon Fund Objectives
This morning LVMH proudly announced that its Carbon Fund has “achieved its objective for 2018.” 28 of the company’s maisons (including Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Christian Dior Couture), are involved in the program to reduce its CO₂emissions by 25 percent by 2020. So far its has raised €11.3 million in financing for 112 projects designed to control and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. “The success of our Carbon Fund once again underlines the major and decisive commitment of LVMH management and all our teams to help protect the environment and fight climate change,” said Antonio Belloni, LVMH Group managing director.

Celine Releases its First Video Campaign for its Menswear Collection (Dazed)
Hedi Slimane’s debut show for Celine last September featured the brand’s first-ever menswear collection. Now he’s released it’s first-ever campaign images and video! The images were shot in London, and the have been set to the French band Ruth’s 1985 song “Polaroïd/Roman/Photo.” Check out a clip, below:
