Fashion’s favorite “It” model, Gigi Hadid, along with best friend Kendall Jenner, will both don their wings and walk in the Victoria’s Secret runway extravaganza in New York tonight. The Daily’s executive fashion director Natasha Silva-Jelly battled maybe the tightest security since President Obama’s visit to get backstage and chat with Hadid.

How are you feeling ahead of the show tonight?
In the lead up it’s kind of nerve-racking, but once I get out there it will be a dream come true.

Do you have a favorite Angel?
I grew up watching Candice [Swanepoel]. She’s so stunning to me and it’s great that I get to be in the show with her.

You were shot by Steven Meisel for the November cover of Italian Vogue wearing a blue wig that’s pretty major…
I’m so excited. I love Steven. I wish I could work with him every day. We just do such fun things and it was really great that we got to be creative. I think that Carlyne [Cerf de Dudzeele who styled the shoot], Guido [Palau, hairstylist], and Pat [McGrath, make up] took a really kind of risky concept and made it their own and so beautiful. I love it and I’m so honored.

Will you dye your hair blue anytime soon?
[Laughs] No, but I like wigs. Wigs are definitely a lot less scary for me now.
