Editor’s Pick: Cinq à Sept’s Hammered Satin Ryder Dress

by The Daily Front Row
Cinq a Sept

What: The perfect sexy summer party dress in lemon yellow hammered satin.

Who: Jane Siskin has more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. She joined Jaya Apparel Group, then called L’Koral, in 1995. After four years of working on projects closer to fast fashion, Siskin convinced Jaya to shift its focus to the contemporary market. One of the first brands she helped develop and bring to market was 7 For All Mankind. In 2007 she helped Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen create Elizabeth & James.

In 2016 Siskin founded Cinq à Sept, which directly translates to “five to seven.” And if you’re a fan of going out you’ll recognize the reference immediately: happy hour! It’s also that magical time between late afternoon and the evening when the light tends to be especially flattering. As such, the line is filled with cute cocktail dresses, chic suits, and a range of separates that can go from day to night. It’s feminine, sexy, and fun all at once!

Why: This little number offers a great twist on the slip dress trend. The tied side detail gives the dress an interesting asymmetrical silhouette and hugs the curves nicely. Meanwhile the sunny yellow hue is an excellent way to get ready for summer. But if yellow isn’t your thing, don’t worry, the Ryder dress also comes in pink and blue.
