Fashion royalty and actual royalty united last night at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the launch of the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange. The event, which included a fashion exhibition and cocktail reception, was co-hosted by Kate Middleton and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange was created by Commonwealth secretary-general Patricia Scotland and Eco-Age founder Livia Firth, and pairs design talent with artisan producers from across the Commonwealth’s 53 countries. The participating designers all created looks as part of the project and their designs debuted at Buckingham Palace on Monday.
Based on the floods of Instagram stories and posts from the event, the lucky lineup of guests couldn’t be more excited to be there.
