Chanel Opens Shop in Courchevel Just in Time for Ski Season

by Paige Reddinger

Chanel has opened its annual temporary boutique in Courchevel for ski season, marking the seventh year in a row it has set up shop in the tony ski resort town in the Savoie region in the French Alps. The luxury retailer will be occupying a space for three months to feature its 2015/2016 cruise collection, which it showed in Seoul last May. The boutique’s décor features shades of pink and celadon green as well as a concrete counter with illuminated Plexiglass slabs meant to mimic an alpine landscape.

For those jet-setting to Courchevel in the coming months, expect ready-to-wear, small leather goods, handbags, shoes, and clutches. The brands iconic J12 watches will also be for sale alongside its new Boy.friend watch. And for those with the deepest of pockets, Chanel’s high jewelry collections will be on display at the Courchevel boutique on December 31 and January 11. Pop in for some truly luxe après-ski shopping.
