Stella McCartney ambassadress Amber Valletta stars in a short vid for the designer’s Winter ’16 collection, and it is not your typical video campaign. Titled “This Film May Contain Gluten,” the mockumentary, a collaboration with filmmaker Simon Aboud, shows Amber behind the scenes of the campaign shoot, with cameos from Stella and British singer Jess Glynne. Some fave moments: Amber’s query about the gluten-free status of carrots (before forcing her hair stylist to eat it from her hand), Amber crediting eating dirt as a kid for her strong immune system (before taking a drag from a cigarette), her phone call about a “saving Venice” (from sinking) event, and her reaction to the “vegetarian” goat on set (“I don’t like animals that travel in herds”).
The campaign is a collaboration with renowned American artist Ed Ruscha, and was shot by Harley Weir in London. The images are stamped with Stella’s popular PETA-approved phrases like “No Leathers Feathers or Fur,” “Veg Out,” and “Meat Free.”
