Allure Wins Magazine of the Year from Adweek’s Hot List

by Eddie Roche

Allure was a major winner of Adweek‘s annual Publishing Hot List, which came out this week. The Condé title takes home the Magazine of the Year award for their continued growth under editor-in-chief and Daily veteran Michelle Lee. The New Yorker walked away with the Cover of the Year honor for the “Eustace Vladimirovich Tilley,” issue which reimagined the magazine’s mascot Eustace Tilley as Vladimir Putin and replaces its iconic masthead with Cyrillic type. Other notable winners were GQ for Hottest Men’s Magazine, Town & Country for Hottest Lifestyle Magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine for Hottest Women’s magazine, and Vogue for Hottest Fashion Magazine. Martha Stewart covers the current issue of Adweek and is recognized on the list this year as the Media Visionary. That’s a good thing.
