The day when FiDi gets flooded with fashion is almost here! The New York Men’s Day SS18 season will take place on July 10 at Dune Studios New York. As for who’s showing? Bristol, David Hart, Krammer & Stoudt, Maiden Noir, Private Policy, R.Swiader, and Wood House return, while Daniel Hechter Paris, Descendant of Thieves, HEAD OF STATE+, Heliot Emil, and Life in Perfect Disorder are showing for the first time. Over a two-hour period, six designers will present in the morning and six in the late afternoon. From July 16 to 18, PROJECT will display the designs at the Javits Center.

“The mission of NYMD and the synergy it has created over the past few years complement our core philosophy at PROJECT, which is to showcase top luxury contemporary menswear designs out in the market today,” said Erik Ulin, president of men’s at UBM Fashion.

Agentry PR is presenting NYMD for the eighth year in a row, with founder Erin Hawker at the helm. “We have an excellent roster of young, emerging talent that will get to show on a global stage, some of them for the very first time,” she said. “This season we’re excited to offer not only high-end, quality presentations for the fashion community but a unique, outdoor experience in order to take advantage of the beautiful weather and sweeping views of lower Manhattan that make NYMD distinctly New York.”

Also partnering with NYMD this year is Albini Group. “Albini Group is very proud to be participating in New York Men’s Day with such an excellent and varied roster of young designers,” said Dr. Silvio Albini, CEO at Albini Group. “Albini Group fabrics are used by top men and women’s fashion houses around the world so we are excited to be involved with these designers who are at the forefront of fashion. We cannot wait to see the results of this partnership and each designer’s interpretation of our fabrics.”
