The last two weekends in Montauk, quite a crowd of who’s who types, in Manhattan and the Hamptons, turned out for a series of parties for The Select House. What is The Select House? It’s rumored to be part of Tinder’s equally mysterious invite-only “Select” service. Whatever it may be, it certainly turned out a beautiful crowd.
Guests like Public School designer Maxwell Osborne, Vogue editor Selby Drummond, nightlife fixture Travis Bass, pro surfer Rob Machado, models Abbey Lee, Zippy Seven, Annabella Barber, and Tom Bull, photographer Stas May, chef Olivier Palazzo, stylist Gabriela Langone, surf filmmaker Taylor Steele, TV personality Simon Huck, and more turned out at the private beachfront residence in the heart of Montauk. The parties included live performances, outdoor movie screenings, and beachside and after-hours events.
MADE co-founder Jenné Lombardo and Flower Shop owner Ronnie Flynn celebrated their birthdays at the house. Live DJ sets were performed by Oli Benz, Cole Ramstad, Jamie Biden, Timo Weiland, Isaac Hindin-Miller, Matt Sav, C.M.A., and legendary former Beastie Boy Mike D, plus nightly performances by acoustic duo The Sturdy Souls. New York-based artists Lucien Smith and James Goldcrown showed up to perform live art installations.
The purpose of the events may still be shrouded in mystery, but no one ever needed a good reason to party, right?
