The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Cast Has Been Revealed (Glamour)
Victoria’s Secret has announced a handful of the models confirmed for the lingerie brand’s 2018 fashion show this fall. Among the major models cast by the brand for the first time is FMA honoree Winnie Harlow, who revealed on Instagram that she was so nervous heading to her casting that she asked her driver to take her around the block twice before she entered. Other models who will walk the show include Barbara Palvin, Grace Bol, Georgia Fowler, Shanina Shaik, and Devon Windsor.
Celine Teases More Images, Possibly Shows Hint of Couture
Yesterday Celine posted two more images to Instagram that give hints to Hedi Slimane’s vision for the brand. Though not much was revealed, the captions mention that the photos were shot in the Paris couture house. Slimane is said to be expanding Celine to include a couture line as well as menswear and fragrance. Ugh! Can his Paris show just happen already? The suspense is killing us!
Sarah Jessica Parker Admits Sex & the City Wasn’t Diverse (The Hollywood Reporter)
In a new interview Sex & the City star Sarah Jessica Parker said that, in retrospect, the show was tone-deaf for its lack of diversity. She also discussed how New York’s atmosphere has changed since the show debuted, making its aspirational qualities out of touch. “If you came back and did six episodes, you’d have to acknowledge the city is not hospitable to those same ideas. You’d look like you were generationally removed from reality,” she said, adding: “It would be certainly interesting to see four diverse women experiencing NYC their way.”
Brandon Maxwell Walks the Runway With His Grandmother
For Spring 2019 Brandon Maxwell repped his home state of Texas with a big, bold collection full of high boots, bright colors, and sexy silhouettes. The glamorous, high-energy presentation was further proof that Maxwell is both tremendously talented and has what it takes to turn his brand into a real pillar of the New York Fashion Week calendar.
At the end of the show, Maxwell brought out his grandmother — who also stars in his most recent campaign — to join him in taking his bow, which was, quite frankly, adorable. Congrats, Brandon!

The Disney Villain-Inspired Nails at the Blonds’ Show Took 500 Hours to Create (Elle)
It’s all about the details! The Blonds’ recent collection was inspired by Disney Villains, and to make sure they put on a theatrical show, the brand teamed up with CND to create custom nails for each look. “It took around 500 hours from start to finish,” CND’s co-founder and style director told ELLE.com, mentioning they began work two months ago. “Craftsmanship alone was 300 focused hours of sculpting, designing, and detailing all the nails.” Totally worth it!
