West Coast based brand Wolk Morais (formerly Ruffian) held their runway show last week in Los Angeles, and gave all access to photographer Tyler Curtis to cover the show backstage. Held on the roof of the famed Roosevelt Hotel (Marilyn Monroe once lived there!), the Wolk Morais designers’ Brian Wolk and Claude Morais turned to Melrose Avenue, the strict English tailoring of Savile Row, and the colorful palette and patterns of Memphis Art for collection inspiration.
