Liza and Pat Cleveland were MIA, but a new generation of party people couldn’t resist a trek to the Upper East Side on Saturday night for a visit to the famous 101 Halston House. DSquared2’s Dan and Dean Caten with LadyFag hosted a blowout for the books to celebrate their one year anniversary in New York. The townhouse on East 63rd is the stuff of New York legend—Halston bought the Paul Rudolph Turner designed property in 1974 and some of the most influential names in pop culture walked through that door during the Studio 54 era. All four levels were open to guests, and the digs (which Curbed listed earlier this year as going for $40 million) were still in mint condition with black and white Warhol photos on the walls. Bringing 101 (as it was nicknamed by Halston’s crew) back to its glory for a night were Daphne Groeneveld, Stefano Tonchi, Mickey Boardman, Lorenzo Martone, Amanda Lepore, Hamish Bowles, Cory Bond, Madeline Weeks, Jacquelyn Jablonski, and DSquared2’s trusty deputy general manager Rigo Lora. We were not disappointed.
