Who: After earning her MA in fashion at London’s Central Saint Martins, designer Simone Rocha made her London Fashion Week debut in 2010. Rocha has since earned critical acclaim, and an avid fan base, for her darkly romantic and unabashedly feminine designs. Though she continues to present at London Fashion Week (this season showing voluminous skits, tulle, and veils), her business is thriving globally. She even opened her first store in NYC just last year. Her collaborations with Moncler — spring just debuted September 19 — are part of the Italian luxury brand’s “Genius” group, which counts the likes of Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccoli and Craig Green among its members.
