Sarah Jessica Parker Channels Carrie Bradshaw in New Campaign

Sarah Jessica Parker is looking very Carrie Bradshaw in these behind-the-scenes photos for her new campaign for Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, launching today.


Coming 20 years after the premiere of Sex and the City, the campaign features Parker in a satin pajama set, unbuttoned to the navel to show off a lacy black Intimissimi bra.


But while the whole innerwear-as-outerwear trend may be old hat for Parker’s character on the iconic TV show, it still took some courage for her to brave the streets of New York with her bra exposed. In a Q&A released by the brand, Parker said that it felt funny having her daughters see her on set with her bra so exposed.


“I try to [not be afraid of judgements and believe in myself],” she said. “But I think a crisis of confidence every now and then isn’t so unhealthy. It’s good to feel challenged, nervous, unsure. Confidence and insecurity can be a fruitful combination.”
