Let’s be honest, most awards shows are filled with categories no one outside the TV and film industry gives a crap about. Best cinematography? Snooze. Best sound mixing? Double snooze! That’s what makes the SAG awards so great: no filler categories! It’s just actors, actors, and more actors, which makes for a truly epic, celebrity-filled red carpet. And while the dress code is still formal, it’s more relaxed than at the Golden Globes or the Oscars, which means almost anything goes.
