Yesterday, husband and wife duo Sachin & Babi presented their Spring/Summer 2017 range, which explores ballet dancers in motion. Naturally, the designers brought their inspiration to life with live performances by dancers from Ballet Beautiful. “We were fascinated by the composition of grace and strength and how they complement each other in today’s world,” said Sachin. “We feel that today, women are redefining the way they dress for evening wear, so we focused on that.” As for Sachin’s favorite piece in the lineup? “I have a beautiful tulle gown in a teal shade which has 22 yards of fabric in it. It’s really gathered, soft, airy, and that worked well with our mood board.” Look out for it!
