Hailee Steinfeld, Troye Sivan, & More Front American Eagle Outfitters’ #WeAllCan Campaign

American Eagle Outfitters’ latest campaign puts Millennial influencers front and center. #WeAllCan celebrates the generations’ need to express themselves and be heard, and stars influencers, actors, models, and musicians like Hailee SteinfeldTroye SivanYara ShahidiCody ChristianRauryNeels VisserJasmine Sanders, Landon McNamaraValentina CytrynowiczMichael LockleyJuana Burga, and Xiao Wen Ju.

Trey Laird and his team spearheaded creative oversight, and enlisted New York-based photog Cass Bird and stylist Sara Moonves. On each shot are the influencers’ personal statements, like “I Can Love Anyone,” “I Can Create My Future,” “I Can Be Heard,” and more, encouraging consumers to share and their messages of individuality and freedom of expression on social media with the hashtag, #WeAllCan.

“#WeAllCan encourages Young America to follow their passion, express their individuality and pursue their unique path, providing a motivating invitation to share what they can do, be or create,” said Chad Kessler, American Eagle Outfitters global brand president, in a press release. “We look forward to igniting a conversation and empowering our customers to answer ‘Can You?,’ ultimately showing how together, #WeAllCan.”

“American Eagle Outfitters is all about an inclusive positive spirit that empowers young people all over the world. This new campaign is just the first step in bringing this voice to life through an inspiring cast of individuals,” said Laird in a press statement. “After creating this first installment with this incredible group of collaborators, I am more inspired than ever in the power of this generation to move the world forward, and look great doing it!”

To go along with the campaign, AEO designed a line of T-shirts and 100 limited-edition hand-painted jackets highlighting the message, available at AE.com. Plus, the brand is teaming up with Rock The Vote for a line of men’s and women’s T-shirts, with 100% of the sales going to the nonprofit organization.
