Proenza Schouler Launches Fall Campaign

by Sydney Sadick

Proenza Schouler has released its Fall 2016 ads, featuring the latest collection that plays with the concept of reconstruction. The all-female campaign stars Selena Forrest, Julia Bergshoeff, and Alexa Peralta and was shot by Zoë Ghertner and styled by the house’s returning stylist, Marie Chaix.

“The Fall 2016 ad campaign captures an attitude of complete individualism and strength. Working with photographer Zoe [Ghertner] and stylist Marie [Chaix], the images are a celebration of diverse beauty that feels deeply relevant in today’s world,” said designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez in a statement.

The pale and neutral collection (with a few pops of red and yellow) features a range of soft, full fabrics with lots of wrapping and tying, referencing the American art scene in the ’60s and ’70s. One fabric, in particular, that you’ll see lots of? Knits, which are collaged, tailored, and wrapped. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for some new accessories!
