Mario Sorrenti and CR Fashion Book Go for Glitter

Carine Roitfeld’s latest creation for CR Fashion Book issue 9 has arrived: enter The Sorrenti Series, where Mario Sorrenti photographed Joan Smalls and Fernanda Ly in shimmery, saturated beauty looks…and piles of glitter, glitter, and more glitter! Tapping into the Tom Ford Beauty arsenal, makeup artist Kanako Takasia applied shine to eyes, cheeks, teeth, lips…you name it. “Mario Sorrenti and I are good friends, and I wanted to do a story about excess,” Roitfeld said in a release. “He is a great photographer, an artist. I gave him carte blanche!”
