Philipp Plein Fêtes His New Collection with a Dinner Chez Bagatelle

Philipp Plein hosted a dinner at Bagatelle in New York City’s Meatpacking neighborhood last night to celebrate his Fall/Winter 2016 collection and #PleinHero campaign. The designer is looking to strengthen his presence in the U.S. market, so expect to see a lot more of Mr. Plein in town.

Plein and CEO Graziano de Boni toasted the new collection with guests like Sean O’Pry, Ajak Deng, Ladyfag, River Viiperi, Cipriana Quann, TK Quann, Crystal Renn, Eli Mizrahi, Madalina Ghenea, Samantha Gradoville, Chloe Norgaard, Sophie Lopez, and Desi Santiago. Deng, who was lovely and seemed to be the life of the party, recently starred in Plein’s Spring 2016 campaign alongside Hailey Baldwin. Thankfully, she’s back in the business after a very brief adieu to modeling.

Homemade gnocchi with black truffle pesto filling, halibut ceviche, branzino seared plancha, truffle roasted chicken, and filet mignon were served. In short, it was a feast. Plein is well-known to love a Red Bull and champagne concoction and so the evening closed with a superhero presentation of sparklers, fanfare, and bottles of bubbly—de rigueur chez Bagatelle, of course.
