Paris Fashion Week Recap: Day 3

Stylist and designer Sofia Achaval de Montaigu recaps some of the highlights from the third full day of Paris Fashion Week.

1. The stars came out for Natacha Ramsay-Levi´s second Chloé show.
Marie Amelie Sauve, Nicolas Ghesquière, Grace Coddington, Lou Doillon, Isabelle Huppert, and Alexa Chung all showed up for Natacha Ramsay-Levi´s second collection for Chloe, which was presented at the Maison de la Radio in Paris. The color palette was earthy with pops of blue and gold mixed in. Almost every look had little boots and chloe-printed socks and was contemporary and feminine, making every girl want to be a #ChloeGirl.

2. Isabel Marant’s fascination with the American West continues.
Isabel Marant’s cowboy-inspired show took place alongside a giant Ferris wheel at the Place de la Concorde. Models in Standout looks included poncho-like sweaters, boyfriend jeans, short dresses in flower prints, and night-black dresses inspired by the ’80s. Every top model was part of the show, but Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber were definitely the most photographed. The collection felt effortlessly chic and emanated a sexy femininity that made every girl in the place want to wear Isabel Marant´s clothes next winter.

3. Fun on the range at the Isabel Marant after party.

Isabel Marant´s after party was decorated in the same line as her show with the classic “wanted“ posters starring the models of the show in the outfits they modelled. Colourful lights and bales of hay were the main decoration, but the star of the event was a boot in neon lights that was the protagonist of most of the pictures taken.

Following the Marant party, it was off to HeavenSake´s party at the Hotel de Crillon, organized by Karla Otto. The brand was founded by my good friend Benjamin Eymere and Etienne Russo, who partnered up with Carl Hirschmann to create the business, and it would only be natural then that the event was to be remembered as a great and really entertaining one. (So entertaining that I actually forgot to take any pictures. Sorry!)
