Bustle Digital Group has acquired Nylon, and plans to bring back the magazine’s print edition for special major events like Coachella. “Nylon’s bold and colorful legacy has developed a cult-like status over the years,” said Bryan Goldberg, CEO and founder of BDG. “We’ve been interested in this property for a long time. We felt it was a natural fit for our portfolio. It’s a model of influential beauty and fashion brands.”

Public School Wins the CFDA + Lexus Fashion Initiative
Last night, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne’s Public School won the 2019 CFDA + Lexus Fashion* Initiative. The duo were awarded the grand prize of $100,000 to be used towards prioritizing sustainability for their company. Meanwhile, Tracy Reese received the social impact award of $5,000 for her passion to sustainability and social impact.

Out Magazine Hosts a Pride Party at The Standard Hotel
Last night, Out hosted a Pride bash, paying tribute to the icons who have advocated for LGBTQIA rights. With help from Diesel, the evening kicked off with cocktails on the terrace of The Standard, High Line, followed by an intimate dinner celebrating the legacy of Pride.

Later, the party moved to Top of The Standard. Guests — including Tommy Dorfman, Violet Chachki, Becca McCharren-Tran of Chromat, Christian Siriano, Gigi Gorgeous, Jillian Mercado, and Nicola Formichetti — enjoyed performances by Alaska Thunderfuck and Lil’ Kim, while sipping on cocktails and dancing.
