MGSM to Debut Resort 2016 in Hunter Magazine

In an effort to promote independent publications (frankly, a move we can really get behind), Italian label MGSM has decided to present its Resort 2016 collection in Italian indie Hunter magazine. Going forward, the brand will collaborate with a different independent publication each season to debut its collections in order to support non-institutional forms of media. Furthermore, each magazine will be given the freedom to interpret the collections as they wish. Quite a welcomed refresher from the traditional presentation format, non?

For Resort, Hunter produced four short videos and six images using MGSM’s collection that were styled by Giuseppe Magistro, the senior editor of Hunter. The videos and images were shot by young Italian photographer, Luca Campri. The idea, thanks to MGSM creative director Massimo Giorgetti, was to give back to those publications who are often the very first to support unknown designers. According to MGSM, Hunter was one of the first publications to support the label in its early days as a brand.
