Mansur Gavriel Opens NYC Holiday Pop-Up Shop

by Sydney Sadick

Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel’s accessory label Mansur Gavriel, which launched in 2012, has officially opened the doors to its very first pop-up shop in NYC’s Soho nabe. The 1,500 square-foot digs, painted in a pale bubble-gum shade, oozes with a hand-selected assortment of Mansur Gavriel styles beloved by celebrities and influencers (think: lots of mule sandals and geometric carry-alls), as well as the brand’s new, exclusive style, the Baby Bucket, a palm-sized version of the cultish Bucket Bag. The space also features a flower shop with customized floral arrangements, and associates at the store wear custom Mansur Gavriel uniforms, making for a chic and Instagram-worthy shopping experience.

“We love the idea of creating an immersive environment, something dreamy in which every detail is considered. We have always been inspired by thoughtful retail environments, and the opportunity to present our first retail concept, just down the street from our office, is very exciting for us,” the designers wrote to Vogue via email. “We wanted to create an environment that serves as an escape from the every day—a dreamy and beautiful world that allows one to take a break from the busy streets, as well as the upcoming dreary winter weather,” the duo said. “We hope our guests will take a little time for themselves.”

Check out the pop-up shop through January 11, 2017, located at 134 Wooster Street.
