The label plans to create 1,000 jobs in the area over the next five years. “This is consistent with Louis Vuitton’s recent signing of the Pledge to America’s Workers, which aims to expand programmes that educate, train, and support American workers,” the brand said in a statement.

Mathematically, Bella Hadid is the most beautiful woman in the world. A British cosmetic surgeon used the “Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi” — the classical Greek calculation to map the ideal face, which has been used by artists like Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci — and determined that Hadid has a score of 94.35 percent. Coming in second and third place were Beyoncé and Amber Heard, with scores of 92.44 percent and 91.85 percent, respectively.

Tod’s Names a New Creative Director
Walter Chiapponi is the new creative director for both womenswear and menswear at Tod’s. “It is a great honor to work for this group,” he says in a statement. “Tod’s is a brand that has always represented an excellence in the international panorama of Italian quality and style. Being able to contribute to the development of this Italian lifestyle is, for me, a challenge and a reason to be proud.” Chiapponi’s first collection for the brand will be for Fall 2020.

Judith Leiber and Nicky Hilton Rothchild Have Designed Bags to Benefit Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation
The Angel Ball will be held on October 28th at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. This year the foundation teamed up with Judith Leiber  to create the Angel Wing bag. Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit the foundation, which raises funds to find cures and treatments for blood cancers.  “I have been a friend of Denise’s and Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for many years,” Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, creative director of Judith Leiber explains. “I have been touched by the love and passion that fuels all of Denise’s efforts and am proud and honored to be able to continue that support this year with a specially designed minaudière from Judith Lieber.” The bags will be available through JudithLeiber.com. Nicky Hilton Rothchild has also designed a bag which will be auctioned off live at The Angel Ball.
