Lela Rose is consummate entertainer, anyone that’s been to one of her dinners knows she’s a pro, and thankfully that extends to her clothing as well. This season she presented her collection in Washington Square Park and treated guests with a hot dog stand (gourmet of course), a cookie cart, a portrait illustrator and a flower stand. It was the perfect backdrop for summery dresses with graphic stripes, lime green pencil dresses and wide leg pants, or a coral and pink floral printed ’50s style dress. Other highlights included a dress styled as a tunic over pants (versatility is always appreciated) and the lace detail on blouses and a particularly stellar white button down. Plenty to dream about for Summer 2018.
