Supermodel Karlie Kloss will be one of the women honored at the 8th annual DVF Awards on Thursday, April 6 in NYC. She will accept the Inspiration Award at the UN, a fitting scene for the mod, who’s known for her philanthropic endeavors in the fashion industry and beyond. Her organization Kode With Klossy helps young women and girls learn how to code, and her gluten-free cookie line, Klossy, benefits FEED and the CFDA, to name a few. In a video posted to DVF’s Facebook page, Kloss encourages everyone to vote for the People’s Voice Award, one of five honors given at the event that’s chosen by popular vote. The lineup was announced just days ago on International Women’s Day: Chitra Aiyar of the Sadie Nash Leadership Project, Kay Buck of CAST LA, Astrid Heppenstall Heger of the Violence Intervention Program, and Louise Dubé of iCivics. Stay tuned for more honorees!
