Jennifer Aniston opens up to Allure about ‘really hard’ fertility journey

Jennifer Aniston is the last of the stoic Hollywood stars. In her December cover feature for Allure—the last print edition of the beauty bible—the adored actress finally breaks her silence on what was going on behind closed doors as the media obsessed over whether she would have children. “I would say my late 30s, 40s, I’d gone through really hard shit, and if it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” she tells the outlet. “That’s why I have such gratitude for all those shitty things. Otherwise, I would’ve been stuck being this person that was so fearful, so nervous, so unsure of who they were. And now, I don’t fucking care.” She further explains, “I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road. All the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You just don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.” Confirming she has zero regrets as to how her life ended up, the 53-year-old says she now feels “relief” that there’s no more questioning coming her way. ” Read the full feature, with styling by Shibon Kennedy and images by Zoey Grossman, here.

Vogue v….Drake?!

According to Page Six, Vogue publisher Condé Nast has filed a $4 million lawsuit against Drake and rapper 21 Savage after the duo photoshopped themselves onto fake issues of the glossy to promote their new album. The suit comes after the faux covers did the rounds on social media and went up as posters all around New York City, LA, Miami, and Atlanta. Adding to the confusion, Drake tweeted the mocked up cover saying: “Me and my brother on newsstands tomorrow!! Thanks @voguemagazine and Anna Wintour for the love and support on this historic moment.” Page Six obtained the lawsuit which shows that Condé Nast sent a cease and desist on October 31 demanding the rapper stop the “unauthorized use of the Vogue trademark by removing the Instagram post, ceasing any distribution of this ‘magazine,’ and issuing a public statement clarifying that this was not an actual cover of Vogue.” The court papers also state: “Anna Wintour did not authorize the use of her image to promote Defendants’ album.” A source told Page Six, Drake isn’t worried—adding that the rappers also created fake covers of other magazines, all of whom were happy to be a part of the stunt.
