Grace Coddington, Karen Elson, Cecily Strong, Michelle Lee and More Attend the 2017 Clio Awards

Last eve at Lincoln Center, the 58th Clio Awards took the stage, hosted by SNL star cast member, Cecily Strong. Allure editor-in-chief Michelle Lee opened the fashion and beauty portion of the evening, which honored Grace Coddington with the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award for Clio Fashion & Beauty, presented by model/rockstar and fellow fiery redhead Karen Elson. As for the entertainment factor, Marian Hill and Iron & Wine performed, and Nathan Morris and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men made a surprise appearance at the beginning of the ceremony to spoof their GEICO spot with “Strong.”

“Our 58th annual ceremony showcased the true power of creativity. Many of our winners spoke of the importance of this industry, and the brilliant, challenging, inspiring projects happening around the world,” said Nicole Purcell, Clio president, in a statement. “The creatives responsible for all of the winning work last night displayed guts and bravery in the fight to bring their projects to life. At Clio, we are proud to celebrate and honor the work that makes people think and feel, 365 days a year.”
