(NEW YORK) GQ has a new editor on deck, and she only had to move a couple of Conde floors for the new gig: Sarah Ball joined the men’s mag yesterday as senior editor. Ball arrived in the land of dapper lads from Vanity Fair, most recently as the mag’s deputy digital editor. Ball spent three years at VF, starting off as associate digital editor in 2010. Prior to VF, Ball was at Newsweek for two and a half years, first as a reporter and then as articles editor. The Duke alum’s new gig will involve print, but she’ll start off on the digital front, according to Capital New York.
But Ball isn’t the only new face with a 4 Times Square history to join the GQ team lately. Just before the holidays last month, social media savant John Jannuzzi took to Twitter (of course!) to announce he was leaving his post as senior digital projects editor at Lucky. Jannuzzi’s new role, which also kicked off yesterday, is senior digital editor. Good times at GQ, apparently!
