Editor’s Pick: Marciano’s Striped Blazer

by The Daily Front Row

What: This rayon, polyester, and spandex-blend blazer features a notched lapel, discreet shoulder pads, a single button closure, and a self-tie waist sash for just the right amount of drama.

Who: Marciano is the contemporary line from GUESS, which was established in 1981 by the Marciano brothers, who traded the South of France for Southern California and used their European sensibility to reimagine American denim. Bloomingdale’s was the first department store to embrace the fledgling brand, ordering two dozen pairs of jeans, which proceeded to sell out in a matter of hours. Today, Guess is a global lifestyle brand creating everything from watches to fragrance to ready-to-wear.

Why: It’s almost the 4th of July and this cute little blazer is red, white, and blue, but without being all obnoxious about it. It’s easy to dress up or down and the tie waist and subtle shoulder pads make it super flattering on almost any figure.
