by Aria Darcella
Burgess Court Hazel

What: The Kate Spade Bourgess Court Hazel cross body bag in rose gold, with a gold chain strap.

Who: Kate Brosnahan Spade founded her eponymous label back in 1993, and it quickly captured a fanbase of young women who connected with her whimsical yet classic designs. By 1996 she had already opened her first boutique in New York. Though Spade herself sold the company in 2007, she was still heavily associated with the brand. When she tragically passed away earlier this year, there was an outpouring of love from fans and customers, remembering the first time they bought one of her handbags.

Today Kate Spade New York has 140 locations in the United States, and another 175 internationally. Spade’s legacy lives on as the brand continues to produce cute, fun, and elegant designs.
