Last eve, the American Ballet Theatre hosted its Spring Gala at the Metropolitan Opera House, and the guest list ran long with names from the fashion world, including Diana von Furstenberg, Prabal Gurung, and Ariana Rockefeller. Other notables on scene: socialite Nell Diamond (who wore a bright orange cascading caped gown), Vogue’s Hamish Bowles, Teen Vogue’s Amy Astley, Vanity Fair’s Amy Fine Collins (donning a super feminine sheer and lace white number), Eric Rutherford, and Misty Copeland, who mingled with guests in a dazzling purple ensemble after a costume change from her dance in the evening performance’s finale.
