Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters of Creatures of the Wind have created a vision for their brand that is delightfully hard to categorize. Is she a country girl? A rock n’ roll chick? A sophisticated uptown lady? An urban woman inclined to streetwear references? Like a true creature of the wind this woman’s references can touch all of the genres, which is what makes her so unique. This season she’ll take pleasure in unexpected lace accents, sporty striped knits, apron skirts worn backwards, denim and khaki trench coats, romantic prairie style dresses, and eye-catching silver lame fabrics.
The casting for this show felt as personal and particularly unique as the clothing. Each model’s aesthetic seemed to fit their clothing looks to a T. It was unique, diverse, and altogether simply put, cool.
