Bummed that New York Fashion Week is over? Well, here’s a little pick-me-up! Thanks to a new app, WiShi (a.k.a. Wear It Share It), you can bring the enviable runway and street style looks to life. WiShi allows users to build a profile by uploading images of clothes from their wardrobe, creating a digital version of their closet. The app provides its 200K registered users almost instant feedback from other users when they request advice on the age-old question: What should I wear? Plus, it makes for a new way to get dressed.
The app was co-founded by Clea O’hana, who was previously a stylist at Net-a-Porter and Belstaff, where her clients included Katy Perry and David Beckham. The idea behind the app? To make styling accessible for the everyday real woman, according to a press release. “We believe that personal styling should be accessible,” O’Hana told The Daily. “I wanted to make style and stylists far more accessible—not just to celebrities and wealthy individuals—which is why we created WiShi.”
