Anna Wintour Almost Walked Out of the Marc Jacobs Show (The Cut)
Last night, for the first time since 2007, Marc Jacobs was running late. An email was sent out in the afternoon informing editors that the show would start half an hour past its scheduled time of 6 PM, but by 7 PM things still hadn’t started. Anna Wintour — who once told Jacobs that if he was ever late again, she would walk out of his show — got up at one point and began pacing behind the bleachers Jacobs had set up in the Park Avenue Armory, leading many to believe she was preparing to make good on her decade-old pledge. Thankfully for Jacobs, she was feeling generous and hung around until the show finally got under way around 7:30. It was a good thing she stuck around though, because the collection was lovely, as you can see for yourself.

Rihanna Shut Down Fashion Week With Savage x Fenty
What a way to end fashion week! Rihanna invited the industry to Brooklyn for her Savage x Fenty show, which turned into a celebration of fashion, performance, and all kinds of bodies. A bevy of dancers and performers worked their way around a futuristic garden of eden, while models like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, and Slick Woods sauntered through the space. The most surprising part? Some of the lingerie was actually glow-in-the-dark!

“As a longtime collaborator and fan, I just think she’s the best,” designer Adam Selman gushed at the show. “She really embodies what she loves for her music, and design, and makeup. I just think she’s the whole package!” Brava, Riri!

Jason Wu to Launch Denim (Vogue)
Jason Wu is launching his first denim line for Spring 2019. The capsule collection, designed in collaboration with the denim brand 3×1, is comprised of five pieces, including a skirt and shorts. “I am personally a fan of 3×1 jeans as a part of my own wardrobe,” Wu told Vogue. “Scott and his team have amazing expertise in denim. I felt like this would be a great collaboration because the denim provides a nice, sportif contrast to my aesthetic, which is inherently very feminine.”
