A Look Inside Alexander Wang’s Chelsea Pad

by Sydney Sadick

Wondering what Alexander Wang’s new Chelsea crib looks like? Thanks to Architectural Digest, you can get a peek inside his new pad—it’s sits alongside the Hudson River—which is the result of help from longtime pal and collaborator, interior designer Ryan Korban. It should be noted this isn’t the first time the two worked together. “It’s a real love/hate relationship, but I wouldn’t have it any other way—it’s like working with family,” said Wang, who has partnered with Korban on his last two residences as well as his corporate office, showroom, and retail stores. Some highlights inside his digs? Luxe materials, like suede walls, playful horsehair sconces, parchment-framed mirrors, marble cocktail tables in the living area, and more. The apartment represents a more grown-up Wang, and a more grown-up way of doing things. “I’m doing a lot more grown-up entertaining these days—complete with all the accoutrements,” he said. “And this place makes that possible. I find myself at Whisk and Williams Sonoma more than I’ve ever shopped at a kitchen store in my life.” Click HERE to read the full story.
