Heard: Major Changes at Teen Vogue

According to reports from several sources, major changes are taking place today at Teen Vogue. Early word is that the magazine may be folded into Vogue. A call into Teen Vogue‘s spokesperson was not immediately returned. Watch this space for updates.

UPDATE, 4:45 p.m.: According to a Vogue spokesperson, news on the matter will be released shortly, but for now, she wrote, “Teen Vogue is not folding into Vogue.” Meanwhile, Racked has reported that Teen Vogue publisher Jason Wagenheim is out. Developing…

UPDATE, 5:38 p.m.: According to a Vogue spokesperson: “Teen Vogue will continue to operate independently, with the same frequency, and have its distinct voice.  As Artistic Director, Anna Wintour will continue to oversee editorial operations, with Editor in Chief Amy Astley and her team reporting in to her, as before. We are making a change in reporting structure on the business side. Susan Plagemann will oversee the sales and marketing teams.  We feel this will only serve to strengthen the power of both brands. Jason Wagenheim has chosen to leave the company after the Thanksgiving holiday.”
